4. Calendar events have a full address
If you rely on calendar sync, every event needs a navigable address: house number, street and city. Waze states that if you see Set address next to an event on the Planned drives screen, the address was not understood and no reminder will be sent. “Office” or a meeting-room name will not work.
5. Battery optimization is not killing Waze (Android)
Users on Pixel and Samsung phones have long reported planned-drive reminders vanishing with every setting correct. Adaptive battery or screen-off restrictions are a common cause. Exclude Waze from battery optimization and leave it unrestricted in the background.
6. You are not relying on it inside Android Auto or CarPlay
